Made from 100% cotton, this premium Italian velvet is wonderfully soft to the touch. Free from fire-retardant chemicals and stain-resistant finishes, it has a Martindale rub count of 50,000, making it well suited to everyday upholstery. As with most natural cotton velvets, the pile will naturally show pressure marks, shading and changes in direction with use. It is also more susceptible to water marking than synthetic velvets, so any spills should be blotted immediately and the fabric is best cared for by professional dry cleaning
